My Love, you've got Competition.

He's smart, he's funny and he's one helluva singer...

JASON MRAZ - I LOVE YOU!
although he was damn Dua-Pai..made us wait from 6pm to 9pm. wth.
BUT..butbutbut it was SO SO worth it!!!
Here's some video clips we took..i have one new NEW fav song now - If it Kills Me. The live version is WAYY cooler than the originals i found on youtube and all..but i only took the chorus boohoo..oh well, at least my cam's sound quality rocks. Enjoy! (this is the only vid i managed to upload on blogger..e rest too big i think :()

ok in order, this video is my other new fav song - Lucky. He got a guest singer Teresa Cole to sing the duet with him, but i prefer the original singer, Colbie Caillat coz she can hit the high notes so much better when they harmonize.
this one is my old new fav song - I'm Yours..i didnt think he sang it very well this time live, maybe coz the youtube/radio acoustic one is already perfect. I felt he looked kinda bored while singing it..haha but the last part after the ending (which unfortunately is not in the video we took) was pretty cool, where he had a grand pause, then ad-hoc-ed, and came up with a personalized version of I'm Yours to Austin people..the way he always does for his I'm Yours endings in different countries. oh well.
oh man. i took 2 days trying to upload my Lucky and I'm Yours videoclips and they just take forever to upload! Plus hang my com summore. Can somebody pls tell me isit coz blogger cant take more than 200MB of video space or sth? each of those videos are 250MB or so..haha. Nvm i'll upload on facebook so yall can see..we took 4 vids in all, the last one is an old favorite The Remedy.

Right..guess i'll post the pics i took that day then! :) The show was totally sold out that day..we had to queue to get in so we came early about 5pm..the queue extended all the way back 1km from the entrance la! I was just so glad i got the GOLDEN TICKETS..thanks to the best guy on earth who gave me my best 21st birthday present ever! **muacks**

It was held at Stubb's, a pub downtown known for holding famous celebrity concerts..oddly enough, it was smaller than expected and we had to stand ALL the way..

Front of Stage and behind us - look at the throng of people! The entrance is at the white gap at the left centre of the page on the 2nd pic..we got really close to the stage, like just 5metres away from the star himself! But it was really v squeezy..

Cute pics of Jason and crew!!! :)

yupyup..that's my first glimpse of the oh-so-charming Jason Mraz..i'm so gonna buy all his other live concert tix i can get my hands on now! :)

Seven Days Ago...

Our footprints dotted Miami Beach.

Or more precisely,

South Beach Miami!

:)

We had 1.5 days to spend there..so we purposely woke up early at 6am to catch the sunrise (after failing to do so during our 4 day cruise).

And of course, it was worth it!!

We marked our spot on the beach...

And drew love letters in the sand..

To my Beloved Sunny Island: You're still the best!
I LOVE YOU SINGAPORE!!!

Then we took a few (or in my case 23498374 times) beachfront jump shots..I guess it all depends on the cameraman..-__- jump so many times pic still like that..I took only 1 perfect shot of him!

Beautiful, beautiful Emo pics..almost can hear titanic-like music...

And then we got bored..so we played with a whole flock of pigeons and seabirds fluttering around the beach.. Couldn't do much sun-tanning till the afternoon (which was scorching hot so we baked for less than an hour only) but the weather was super shiok and cool in the morning..which made us want to irritate the birds even more while playing on the beach.. haha :)

After spending a glorious morning together on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world..I realized..it was the 21st of October. Our 19th monthliversary!! Simply Perfect.

<3 19th and more to come my love! <3

Carribean Sun, Sand and Sea!!

Yeah I know..alot of you can't wait for me to talk about my AWESOME cruise to the Bahamas! That's why i decided to upload all the pics on FB first so i can feed your eyes before your literary ears!

I do apologise for the wait because, you know what, after uploading the 435 pictures we took during that 5 days of getaway..I am absolutely stumped as to where to start describing that outta-this-world trip!!!

It started off at 3am at the Austin airport..we only realized how kiasu we were when there was absolutely NOBODY when we arrived. Flights only began at 5.45am!

Finally..ticket to board Carnival Imagination - The Fun Ship and pre-sail safety drill!! This time..the drill was a lil' different from formal aeroplane type safety drills..we actually had to bring our own safety jackets from our cabin and gather at a specific room..and the announcer was super funny la..he started off with "Firstly, put the lifejacket over your head...DUH." Lol.

Check out the huge slides on the deck and the sail-away party...Americans really know how to partae! Everyone just went crazy..it's like they are determined to play hard on their weekend cruise vacation.

The view from the deck at all angles were so picture-worthy, we couldn't stop snapping away..some people found out that when they ate along the corridors of the Lido Deck which was the main food place..throwing crumbs of bread/ham/pizza/anything would cause a WHOLE flock of seagulls to follow us..it was pretty hilarious actually..the seagulls were like circus birds catching and fighting for crumbs and they could swoop up/down/left/right - must remember that the ship was moving really fast and got wind leh! Pro can.

Drinks and Duty Free Liquor were plenty aboard..we drank the daily specials until super seh by midnight..haha..See that Absolute Vodka there..selling 2 for $20 leh! Tempting hor..but we're not big drinkers la..and we didn't want to have excess baggage + declare stuff etc..

So anyway..Nassau, Bahamas was our destination! It was pretty commercialized really, with all the Duty Free Shops selling real diamonds and liquor, and manymany touristy stuff. BUT. The main highlight was of course...

COACH!!! :)
okay i shan't quote the price i got these gorgeous wallet/bag/pouch for over here..come ask me yourself if you wanna know =)

okay well besides the cheap branded goods, the Bahamas had nice beaches too..but we didn't go over to Paradise Island, which supposedly has the most beautiful beach among the Bahamian Islands, coz we had to take cab or sth and we didnt have time..so we stayed on Nassau beach. Oh. and of course we tried their (USD$9 super ex) Conch Fritters which is basically like the fried doughnuts you find in Prata stalls but with conch nuggets inside (abit like squid). And we bought the Nassau Bahamas signiture Rum Cakes for family back home!

*****************

Yup, so that was our short 1 day onshore trip of Nassau Bahamas..truly rewarding and just the beginning of our sun-tanning days!!

2nd Night after Bahamas: On the ship back to Port of Miami..drinks, drinks, and More Drinks!! Their cocktails are good but really strong..haha..and of course..we ate more..later i'll compile a collage of the 9834798457 dishes of food we consumed in just 4 days on the ship!

Day 3: Suntanning on the deck + plenty of chillin' + Big Slides!
And then..guess what we saw!!

Damn cool can! Sea Tornado! The captain started annovncing on the speakers and told everyone to take pictures with it..haha cool shit.

----------->>>>
Before.................after 15 mins..............Tadah!!

Other activities on board..Ice Carving Demo which was awesome..the professional carver took only 15 mins! And the MC was like..'Guess how much we paid for this guy to come?' and 'Guess how much the ice block weighed before and after it was carved?'

Answers: US$800-1000, 300kg and 150kg

Then there was Men's Hairy Chest Competition..all the FAT angmohs damn enthu la!!
Super hilarious coz all the uncles who came up had to dance in front of 4 hot chicks who were the judges of their favorite hairy guy...quite Eeew actually.
So after we were board with on stage activities..we went back to our cabin and took..

EMO PICS...

haha. the cabin window was just so tempting lah. :)

Okay! Finally for my collage of food consumed over the 4-day cruise!!

whew..finally one post up at least! Haven't even touched Miami yet leh!

But Miami totally deserves one new entry on its own..

And..more to come...tonight's Jason Mraz concert!!!

Boy, i sure am busy! Good night for now though..
:)
