Kayak adventure @ Pulau Ubin with The Clan! Deals.sg inspired us with a discount off a 4-hour kayak trip around the swampy mangrove in Ubin. Perfect way for an alternative workout i say! And who else better to go with than the trusty family clan of cousins - with a few extra family-to-be-beaus thrown in. :D
It poured madly halfway through our journey while we were in the mangrove, and scared all the animals away..we were supposed to see monkeys, otters, more birds, etc. But then again, having choppy waters to paddle in was rather fun on its own!

Oh, incase you're wondering why the guys in the first boat ain't standing - their kayak was half submerged and was sinking HAHA a bit mean but it was really quite funny. Think their boat plug got loose or something.
haha whee...needless to say we all had a splashing good time, literally! Since there were no animals to see, we entertained ourselves by putting our paddles to good use in dishing out water to each other.
Next up to come..maybe OBS park in Bedok with the super long flying fox!! C'mon Deals.assgee! :)

Unilever D&D 2011 - Lights, Camera, Action! We almost didn't come up with anything to wear as everyone was pretty much lazy to dress-up. But just 2 days before the event, I sent out an email with 3 diff options - Charlie Chaplin, Retro, or Shanghai Tang - having had 4 years of KR DND meant going to a themed DND without putting any effort to dress-up was just UNTHINKABLE. You know, we could at least try.
And so, with the most flamboyant member in our team wanting to win the best dressed costume AGAIN, we went with the theme - Shanghai Tang (with one still in Huanzhugege era). Even still, only a couple of us bothered to go all the way to Masquerade at Lavender St to rent costumes. But the effect was great!!
He totally made us walk all the way from the entrance holding his fingers like Empress Dowager's maids. Check out that attitude!

Hokay time for catchup TV on xinmsn..haha the new 9pm show on Ch8 with Qi Yuwu is really not bad!! Maybe that was the inspiration behind Shanghai Tang...hurhur. :)
